Apurva Gupta is currently responsible for leading the APAC Procurement organization for Kimberly-Clark. He is tasked with leading the transformation of the Procurement Organization from a country based, primarily transactions management team, into a Regional Strategic Sourcing organization, and for creation of APAC Procurement Strategies, Key Supplier Relationships, Procurement Capability, Digitization Roadmap, Drive Innovation and Value Transformation agenda.
Apurva has over 22 years of leadership and business transformation experience in Supply Chain and Procurement, having worked for The Procter and Gamble Company, Unilever and Kimberly-Clark, the world’s leading Consumer Products Companies in multiple geographies(Asia, Middle East, Europe), in Country, Regional and Global roles across multiple business units and categories. Apurva has led large, diverse multi-cultural teams, and is a Change agent with proven track record for driving step-change value creation and business transformation.
Apurva has extensive experience in start-up of new Procurement Organizations, creating Global winning strategies, innovations & new Business models, establishing & managing strategic Supplier Relationships, Operations & Systems. He has successfully led several Outsourcing initiatives & governance teams, Corporate restructuring programs & Integration of acquisitions.
