Lisa Tay is the Head of Human Resources, Asia Pacific, Johnson & Johnson Enterprise. She leads the HR Community for Asia Pacific and shapes and leads the HR agenda for the company in partnership with the business leaders. Lisa is also responsible for shaping and leading the transition of the HR functional models under Enterprise Standards & Productivity in Asia Pacific. She is also part of J&J’s Global HR Management Committee.
Lisa joined J&J as the VP Human Resources for the Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices (MD), Asia Pacific in 2014. In this role, she was responsible for developing the human resource strategy in support of the short and long‐term business goals, developing diverse leadership, talent and capability pipelines of the business.
Results driven with a heart, Lisa is a self‐starter with extensive experience in all aspects of Human Resource within Healthcare, High Tech, Logistics, Industrial and Government sectors. With more than 20 years of opportunities to work across multiple cultures, business cycles and organization sizes ranging from 200 to 30,000, she has demonstrated consistent success operating in matrix organizations, working across various businesses, functions and remote locations.
Prior to Johnson & Johnson, she served in Asia Pacific senior leadership roles that included the Head of HR for VMware Asia Pacific, TNT Logistics Asia Pacific and as well as HR Asia Pacific Director for the Hewlett Packard Software and Services Group which included Consulting, Managed Services and Technology Services. Lisa is a non “HR‐careerist”, starting out in the Sales & Marketing before cutting her teeth in Human Resource in Intel and General Electric. Lisa graduated from National University of Singapore in Computer and Information Sciences. She is married with two children, and enjoys dancing and reading.
